Baby Centered Birthing Education
the Magic of Motherhood Method is a Complimentary Natural Childbirth method for use with or without medication, at home, birth center, or in a hospital.
It involves Empowering yourself, and Empowering your baby! In a Magic of Motherhood birth, babies are recognized and included as an integral part of the process. Childbirth hypnosis is utilized for relaxation.
We typically ask our new families to begin classes during their 16th week of pregnancy. If you should like to begin classes at a different point in your pregnancy, do not hesitate to inquire.
We ask spouses and/or support people to attend class with the mommy and be an ACTIVE PARTICIPANT
not just a coach. This is important for both educational and comfort purposes.
Additional Services
include Blessingway/Mother Blessing celebration planning, belly casts, and Babymoon planning and rituals
Individual, group, and online classes are available for pregnancy, birth and beyond.
Our classes are designed for parents, professionals, students, families or anyone who would like to know more about maternal/child issues.

PERINATAL PSYCHOLOGY PACKAGES:
- Birth Consultant: Prenatal and childbirth coaching as a one-on-one relationship for a 4 week period (2nd trimester) to help you through birth planning, prebirth bonding, birth preparation, relaxation and emotional wellness. Includes 1 face-to-face visit each week, unlimited email and phone communication, and personalized prenatal curriculum.
- Postpartum Consultant: Postpartum support and education as a one-on-one relationship for a 4 week period following the birth of your baby to help you through postnatal emotional wellness, sibling adjustment, baby care and development basics, and bonding. Includes 1 face-to-face visit each week, unlimited email and phone communication and lending resources.
Parenting Support and Education: prices for these services are at an hourly rate of $60

Jill has taught parenting classes in mothering groups, alternative high schools, daycares and birthing centers. She is the founder/moderator of Perinatal Psychology- a BEPE east outreach project (Birth and Early Parenting Educators). She has Breastfeeding Certifications from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and OU Medical Center, as well as CSPCC and Bledsoe Parenting Certifications.

Clinical Hynotherapy:
Dr. Jill D. Chasse is a certified advanced clinical hypnotherapist (since 1997) and had completed additional training in hypnosis for childbirth. She has worked with mothers preparing for birth (in home, birth center and hospital settings) with guided relaxations and visualizations. Hypnosis increases calmness, reduces fear, increases control, and strengthens the mother-baby bond.

Prenatal/Postpartum Support:
Although new as a doula/ midwife assistant, Jill has been supporting birthing women for over 15 years. This expansion of Magic of Motherhood allows direct and continual contact for her support, counseling, hypnotherapy and relaxation services into the birth as well as postpartum. She has training in prenatal/postpartum exams including fetal palpations, heart tones, nutrition, and vitals.
Grief Support:
Loosing a child, whether before or after birth, is devastating. Reaching out in the time of loss is vital for healing and acceptance. Angel Babies, a project of Magic of Motherhood, provides resources and support for grieving families.
Additionally, a perinatal loss workshop is offered online.
Jill holds multiple certifications in grief counseling, has been the Family Services Director of the SIDS foundation, is a volunteer Perinatal Loss Counselor on Sharegrief.com and has moderated numerous grief support groups
E-Counseling:
Jill works with women, couples and families to provide help with pre-birth bonding, birth preparation, child development, relationships, grief and bereavement, and related issues.
She offers counseling/coaching/support via email for a set fee of $75.

Dr. Chasse has over a decade of providing supportive, helpful and research based solutions for new and expecting families. She has been a guest speaker at La Leche League and Attachment Parenting meetings as well as public speaking events and consulting positions across the US and Canada.
